Whether you’re working part time or you’re the head chef you are a crucial part of the team. Of Dinner22 and Drinks20. And just like any other family we conquer stress, unforeseen situations and new challenges, together. Because we work together just as a family does.
Cilla, who’s responsible for the front of house began the journey with Dinner22 in 2007 together with head chef Johnny. In those days the neighbourhood was not exactly famous for its fantastic gastronomy. But there was fantastic potential - a stone’s throw away from Avenyn (the main high street), Heden, The Swedish Exhibition and Congress Centre - just off the beaten path. And Johnny’s favourite sandwich shop of course. It turned out to be a partnership that worked so well that Cilla and Johnny run the restaurant to this day. Over ten years later.
Over the years more great people have joined us, Jesper who’s taken the reigns of the front of house experience and Patrik who runs the cocktail bar. And even though we have grown, that sense of family remains. New family members that all bring their own personality and ideas to the table. Who both support and challenge each other.
Because this place is sort of like a second home to us, and we hope that you’ll feel right at home too.
Our food has its roots in the traditional Swedish cuisine; meat dishes and traditional classics, but with a twist. The beverage list is long, with focus on rich wines, creative cocktails and an exciting range of beers.
For a cocktail before or after the meal, we recommend a visit to our cocktail bar, Drinks20. Here, our Bar Manager Patrik Zeedigh and his team offers world-class cocktails, always with something new on the menu. If you are not up for an entire dinner, combine a cocktail or a glass of wine with your favorite cheeses or a charcuterie platter.
